Can't set Android Pay as default

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and have both Samsung Pay and Android Pay installed. However due to my bank not available through Samsung Pay yet, I want to use Android Pay. I have my cards activated etc. but doesnt work when I try to pay. I can't set Android Pay as my default in Tap and Pay. Only Samsung Pay and Google Pay are appearing. Android Pay only appears in the 'Other' section.

Any ideas how I can set Android Pay as the default?

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this to the Android Pay forum for more specific traffic.

Google is slowly transitioning the name of Android Pay to Google Pay, so you've most likely made that transition. If you select Google Pay, it's the same as Android Pay.

Still not able to set android pay as default but payments working so no help needed

One more thing -- go to Settings>Apps, select Samsung Pay, then Defaults, and clear the defaults. Now see if you can set Google/Android Pay as your default.
