False update for Samsung pay

I received an update around May-25-2020 request for Samsung pay and when I clicked on the update information no version was presented for Samsung Pay. I delayed updating and later when I went back to Google play store it was no longer visible. I had not updated and cannot understand how this false update got past Google updates as well as Play protect. See the enclosed views.



My updates after not performing an update is missing Samsung pay.

don't see google play movies or proton vpn either so why don't you think they are fake too? there is always a chance they updated while you when to turn off auto update. I noticed on the notification bar it was downloading updates when you took the first screen shot.

Those things can happen sometimes, it will alert when it becomes available again.

No it is a false update samsung pay has no update. There is a malware called Strand hog (obtained from securty now episode "zoom's E@EE Design" security now)that intercept and provide fake information and effects all Android except 10.

When I look at the update it doesn't even go to samsung pay it shows the enclosed.


When has a vendor ever removed an update?
