When will Pixel 1, Pixel 1 XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL be getting the Android 9.1 Pie update? There are a number of bugs that affect the Pixel 1s and 2s on Android 9.0 Pie. I'm hoping Google will address the #ScreenAlwaysReadingOnBug on both versions the Pixel 1s. What bugs have you notice on the Pixel 2s? Hoping that there is an update for the Pixel 1s before the end of October or the very latest the middle of November. Otherwise, many of us Pixel 1 users/owners will have to revert to Oreo as that OS was the last OS that didn't have bugs. Or sideload Pie 9.1 when it comes out.

There isn't even a beta out (if there was one, there would be discussion about it in here), it'll be some time yet.

Sounds like Google is going to skip Pie 9.1 and go straight to Q 10. That would mean that we Pixel 1 and 1 XL owners will either have to trade up to another Pixel, change phone manufacturers ie. Essential Phone if we can find one, wait to side load and flash Q or revert to Oreo by side loading and flashing. Because let's face it, Android Pie 9 is a mess on the Pixel 1s. Maybe Google might make a Patch and put it out with the 2018 November Security Update? 🙏

That doesn't mean they're skipping 9.1, it just means there isn't anything public out about it yet.

Even if they weren't coming out with 9.1, 10 won't be out until August 2019, so we'll still see updates - at least security updates, every month until then. And if there's a bug and they fix it, it will be included in a security update, as others have been.

I made sure to download a Zip file of Oreo made special for my Pixel 1 XL and saved it to my Google Drive in case they don't fix the issues caused by Pie.
