My wife just started receiving a virus/infection warning message on her Droid RAZR M that may be questionable. I'm posting this to see if anyone else is getting this and if it's real, or a fake ad.
She only gets this (for the time being) while playing a new game called 'Deal or No Deal' and It does not appear every time she plays the game.

The messages say, "(1) virus detected?... scan and remove now!".
When she clicks on that message, it takes her to the following message.....
"Your Android may be infected?"
"Suspicious Threat Detected?"
Recommended Solution:
1) Download anti-virus to scan through your phone"
2) Remove all viruses and protect your phone.

The ? marks in the message are making me think it's not real. The following link is associated with this.... www.androindsecurityfree.org/v494a/index.html?vers

Does Android ever send/use a web address like that?

If the message is real, what needs to be done to remove the virus/infection?

If the message is some sort of 'scare' ad, what needs to be done to stop/prevent it?

Anybody else getting this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,,,,,,,,

Check out the link posted in the "pesky new ad ware" thread in this section. It may help you determine which app is sending the message so you can uninstall it.

Sent from my phone with the app.
