Some kind of spy program on phone...

I have a Razr Maxx running android 4.4.4 and someone put a program on it so they could mess with my phone. I discovered this when I was texting someone and all of a sudden the texts just vanished from the screen. I would get weird texts once in a while with random letters and numbers. I already went the factory reset route and even got a new sim card but the thing is still on there somewhere.

I recently got ES File Explorer and have been looking around on the phone and I'm trying to figure out if there is a list from Android with all of the files that should be on the phone. Ever since I started looking through the files all of a sudden certain directories are empty the next day, there are errors every time I try to open or copy a file.

Even files I was looking at last night are now gone or impossible to open due to errors. I'm not a developer or a genius or anything, but I don't see the reason for having a few hundred files that are 0 bytes that delete themselves after being looked at. It appears I was getting a little too close maybe becuase around 2:21am last night a ton of files were modified to 0 bytes.

Anyone have any idea how I can find the files responsible? I know who put it on my phone but I want the satisfaction of finding out exactly how he did it.

This is one thing I've found that's weird:

There are also other files on the phone that use this obake or obakem prefix like for the kindle. I doubt the guy who did this was hdsplat so I have no idea whats going on.

If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Re: Some kind of spy program on phone...

Thanks, I'll check that out.

I have to say I am an *****, hdsplat program is legit, I'm just so paranoid now about everything on the phone since this happened I think everything is suspect lol.

My blackphone will be here in a week, then this razr maxx gets saved for when I find the person for 100% so I can make them eat it. :)
