Looking for a good streaming android tv box without breaking the bank

Hey all,
Any help will be appreciated. I have a Matricom g-box q2 but my iptv keeps pausing. Want to get a newer, better android. There's so many out there it's giving me a headache. Skystream plus looks interesting but at $125 its a bit steep or do I have to pay for better service?

A slow spot in the internet path, nothing to do with the box.

Anything over 5mbps should be fast enough. But understand - that's between your ISP and you, it has nothing to do with the speed of the path from the server to your ISP. You can't pay to increase that, it's the internet. All you can do is choose a different source. Or save the stream as it comes down, then watch the file you saved.

My iptv guys say its not them. I'm on ethernet and my speed tests are very good, 90dl/82ul but I still get freezing/pausing which they state is on my side.
