    Anyone else have issues with muting phone by toggling the "mute phone while connected" switch on the Android wear app?

    I have a Moto X running 5.1 and Sony smartwatch 3 running 5.1.1

    It works intermittently. Usually a phone call breaks it and then all notifications come pouring through.

    Same thing happened on 5.0 on phone.

    Driving me nuts. I can't just mute the phone. It's either ring, vibrate or a do not disturb in which case the watch just mirrors the setting on the phone.

    I just want the phone to be silent and not vibrate and the watch to vibrate.

    Worked perfect on kit kat. I would just mute the phone and the watch would still vibrate.

    yeah so, u can't do it on lollipop. which sucks. that is my biggest complaint. so now I just mute thru wear app, and have to remember to put my phone on vibe so that it won't ring when I get a call.

    That is terrible execution on their part. Any workarounds that don't require root?

    so I just got 5.1 and seems to be fixed. now when wear is on mute, phone does nothing for calls and watch vibes. will do some test and post later

    Mine will work for awhile. Usually a phone call breaks it, just like 5.0. It works for awhile but I end having to disconnect, connect, toggle off/on and its good for awhile again.

    oh I got ya. mine never breaks but sometimes the watch says connected but nothing comes thru, so I send a demo card, then the flood begins
