My kiddo has trouble with forgetting to do things. I want to know if it would work to have him use an Android Wear watch at school to set complex alarms--like the clock app in stock Android for phones--that allows daily or weekly repetition, without giving him access to lots of distracting content (messaging, music, videos, play store, web content, etc.)
I think Adroid Wear 1.0 doesn't have the Play store. Can it set alarms like the stock clock app on phones?
Not sure if there is the ability to restrict apps on the wear devices, since Android Wear 2 has the Play store and standalone apps.
Open to other suggestions, too. He tried to use a phone, but kept losing it. Hoping a watch would be easier to keep.
