(Haven't used the forms in a long time and I don't think I ever used it on mobile so I had some challenges... Not sure if I'm posting in the right spot, my apologies)

I've always used Android phones (and a brief stint on iPhone for about a year last year) and I never noticed this happened before until I recently got this Galaxy S6: if I put the phone in airplane mode, when I take it out of airplane mode the Wi-Fi does not automatically come back on. In my recollection it always has done that inthe past. I cringe over much cellular data I've been using the last couple of weeks because I didn't notice the Wi-Fi wasn't on.

Is there something amiss, or does it just not do that anymore?

If the latter is there an app that will warn me when I'm not connected to Wi-Fi? Or is there a way to display the Wi-Fi icon larger... With all the other tiny icons at the top it just it just doesn't stand out. Having to look for it is not something I've ever had to do in my years of using smartphones.
