After recharge battery, camera does not come on

After a long time not using the camera, I recharged the new battery but the camera went come on

Is this on a phone, tablet or an actual camera?

We need a little more info to go on - what model device? If it's a phone or tablet, what version of Android is it running?

Welcome to Android Central! How long is "a long time"? Given enough time without charging, any lithium battery can completely discharge, which means it's irreversibly dead. You may have to look into replacing the battery.
