Delivery report is coming up with wrong name.

[Android Central Question]

I have delivery reports set up on my phone.
When I send someone a text message, every now and then the delivery report will come up with my ex's name rather than the person I sent it to.
I thought it my just be a coincidental bug. But I mentioned it to my friend and they think they may be receiving my phone history/data.
I've done a virus check and i dont see a rogue app, any idea whether it is a known glitch or if something is on my phone sending him stuff, how do I find it?

Welcome to Android Central! Why does your friend think they might be receiving your phone's history/data? What kind of history/data are you referring to -- the call log?

Regular text message.
I'm assuming she means messages or something, which is a sensible thought considering when it comes up with a the incorrect name on a delivery report, it is only his name.

I'll attach screen shots, these are 3 different delivery reports from today.

You can clear data,cache and force stop the message app see if it correct it

Did your ex and you get the phone together? How was it set up? Who's email activated it?
