Black squares/rectangles ruining games

On some games such as Godus certain effects such as gemstones and mines are covered by moving black squares and rectangles, however some games still work perfectly, when I pull down the navigation bar it is all fine again and it doesn't show when I screenshot it, I am on a new moto g8 power and don't have any other issues and my friends play the same games on Samsung and have no problems I tried Google but there isn't much on it.
