Exchange Server Settings change now and then on some Android phones?

Hello,

We have an Exchange Server 2016 in our Company.

Now we have the following problem. In de mail app (android, but not every version) the Exchange Server settings changes from mail.company.com to mail.company.com/ews/exchange.asmx.

When that happens the mail doesn't work anymore. The users will have to go to the settings of the mail app and then change the settings back to mail.company.com again. Then it works all fine for a day or days.

Not all the android phones have this problem. It is mostly the ones that have version 9 of android.
I have tried to roll back the version to version 8 but that is not possible on these phones.
What can I do to resolve this?

Is the mail app actually named "de mail" or are you using the stock mail app?

Yes it is de Samsung mail app.
