Portable Display for Android Auto

[Android Central Question]

Since not all vehicles have an Android Auto compatible infotainment system, Is there a portable plug-in display (think along the line of Garmin LMT70 plug-in GPS) that can be affixed to the windshield, that will allow cell phone to plug into it and provide a richer, larger Android Auto display? My vehicle does not have an infotainment system, and a refurb is over $1K; my phone screen is tiny. Being able to mount a larger screen to the windshield, plug my phone into the display and running AA on the larger display would be great. Thoughts?
