My call history is showing an outgoing call that says (227) 8 what does that mean

Maybe your carrier, I've seen them have numbers like that when calling.

Welcome to Android Central! Does it correspond to a time when you actually did make a call? Contact your carrier to ask about it.

With it being an outgoing call, it was likely a misdial or even a butt-dial that connected, then disconnected, probably with a message 'This is not a valid number." I've done it myself a time or ten.
