Voicemail coming in Days after it was left.

Hi. I purchased a used Motorola E5 Play phone from Assurance Wireless. I noticed that a voicemail notification came up, but this voicemail had been made 4 days prior. Is there anything I can do to ensure that I get my voicemails in a timely manner?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain the phone received the voicemail 4 days ago, or did it just receive it even though the caller left it 4 days ago? If it just received the voicemail, then contact your carrier and ask if there's an issue with the network.

Question.. How do you reset your network settings? That is something I've never done, but would be interested in trying to do. My wife and i both suffer from the same as op occasionally.
