Android Central Question

The Notification Bar scrolls down without touching the display and then freezes the phone. so i must lock the phone and unlock it and then i can use the phone but after a few minutes or sometimes seconds the same problem comes back!!

It's Haier esteem i80 (Android version 4.4.2). I know that it's pretty old but I can't afford a new one right now. This problem is so frustrating for me. Please help me!
The notification bar scrolls down itself, comes to the half of the screen and the screen the freezes. Sometimes it goes back itself too

Hi, welcome!

Try safe mode , i hate to give you bad news thats a very very old andriod system and can expect more issues.

Safe Mode temporarily disables any 3rd party app you installed. If the problem goes away in Safe Mode, then you know that something you installed is causing the problem. You'd then have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

I don't wanna do that :(
Here's a photo though. Sometimes the notif bar just gets stuck here and sometimes it comes halfway through the screen.
The problem its happening in safe mode which means not 3rd party apps causing this , so not really much more can try .

So, I read somewhere that this happened to the person when he was using a cheap charger. I have been charging my phone with the same charger for so many years but still first, I let the battery go to 0% and then I charged it with a new charger, and thank God that the problem is gone! It's working fine now :)

Strange, but if it worked that's great , maybe try cleaning that charger port with compressed air .
