Hi, I have been receiving the following message on a daily basis, and sometimes up to 3 times a day: -
    Device Maintenance
Some apps or processes are overloadin gthe system (CPU) and need to be closed

I have no idea what the facebook bit refers to and am concerned someone is hijacking my account.
Any ideas what I need to do?

Nothing to do with security, it's just that the poorly written FB app is a resources hog.

Welcome to Android Central! "Katana" is the name of Facebook's app at the system level. The app tends to be a bloated mess, so unless it's crucial to you, I'd uninstall it and just access Facebook via the mobile site. No one's trying to hack you.

Yep, I get that regularly from the FB app on my J2. I already disabled it on my Note 9 to save a large amount of data while operating on my Hotspot. They've tried to turn Facebook into a do-it-all app and turned it into a godawful mess. It's so bad I'd have to disable it when roaming, it would blast through my roaming allotment with just a few visits in a day. I keep it open in my browser.

In fact, I looked at it on my J2, it says it's taking up almost a gig of storage. They really need to make something to be able to delete that POS.
