I just replaced the display of my OnePlus 3T and at first it was working perfectly, but then after a while it starts picking wrong inputs. The input offsets down, so that when I press on the middle, it registers in the bottom-right-corner of the phone, and if I press all the way at the top, then the touch is registered somewhere around the middle.

Weird part is, that the problem goes away instantly everytime I restart the phone and then it randomly comes back usually within couple of hours.

You need to take it to a repair shop. It's impossible to diagnose on a forum without physical access to the device.

Was it a genuine screen or a third party one? It may be fake or faulty.
