I have an infinix HOT 6X phone which is stuck in a boot loop, what should I do to fix it?

I have tried installing an update.zip from SD card but it says wrong footer, signature verification failed. It's USB debug mode is off. What do I do?

Sounds like you were using the wrong or a corrupt file.

Welcome to Android Central! Did the bootloop start before or after installing the update? Did you root the phone, and have you been modifying it with various ROMs?

The boot loop started after an OTA update, the phone didn't turn off during update because of low battery or so, after the update. The boot loop issue started

It is not rooted and the phone has never been modified since purchase. I was trying the update through an SD card to fix the boot loop issue

How old is the phone -- is it still under warranty? Since this was an official system update from Infinix, they should be responsible for any problems it causes. Try contacting their support: https://www.infinixmobility.com/care/support

It was bought early last year, I don't think it's still under warranty. Is there another way I can fix it?

And sincerely the warranty process in my country is not something I've seen work before. I will prefer fixing it myself.

Ok, it's still worth contacting their support to see if they can help with reflashing the stock ROM in a bootlooped phone. Another good resource would be the forums at XDA-Developers.com.

I downloaded some from some sites and forums talking about using miracle box Qualcomm flash software and some other software but all attempts failed and it seems the version of files I have isn't signed, an infinix forum said I should back up the rom of an existing phone of exactly same model or update file and use but can't find one

Hi, best place is to ask on XDA forum , im not sure you'll get much help here as its not as popular as Samsung, Google, LG etc

You might have to flash through adb commands.
