Android Central Question

On my Android phone, when I click the button with 3 verticle lines, it pulls up open apps, but aslo across the bottom, has a list of recently used icons. Can i turn iff that bottom list if recently used?

Is this phone running Android 10? It added a set of frequently used apps at the bottom of the recent apps screen, and I haven't found a way to disable it.

At least in the Pixel Launcher (I'm on a 2XL) - long-press a blank area of the homescreen, select home settings, select suggestions. Make your selection there.

I see, I was thinking there was a spot, but couldn't find it as @hallux described on Pixel, but with the Samsung, it was open Recents, tap the three dots in the Search box to get to the Settings, then slide the Suggested Apps at the bottom. I admit I'd seen that a couple of years ago, and flat forgot where it was. Thanks. But I turned it back on after trying it, since I use those. ;)

Then this is manufacturer dependent. On my LG V60, I don't have a search bar to access the suggested apps setting. When I search for it in my main settings menu, it returns zero results.
