How come they made Phones that you can't take the battery out of? Change to put in new battery?

The Galexyphones and such, one can not change or remove battery!

Firstly - we don't make the phones.
Second - the market as seen by the manufacturers dictated these changes. Want thinner phones? The battery needs to be built in so the hard plastic shell on removable batteries can be taken away. Want water resistance? The phone needs to stay sealed for best performance.

Didn't batteries have to be sealed with non-removable backs for things like wireless charging to work, as well?

Possibly.

The new charging speeds may also have something to do with it. A battery connected to the charging circuit with soldered connections will charge more efficiently and can be charged at a higher rate than one that is removable and connects with sliding contacts.
