Android Central Question

I have noticed on Android phones 9.0 and earlier while I am talking to someone on the phone a bunch of 3"s will appear up top and I have not touched the dial pad at all.

it is a blu view 1 the screen turns off I believe not sure what you mean by screen protector? It has happened with my other android based phones also and it might be touching my cheek also.

I mean a protective glass or plastic film you place over the screen to protect it. A poorly fitted screen protector can cause phantom touches, which could explain these extra "3" keypresses.

You say you're not sure if the screen turns off. Check now -- have somebody call you, answer the phone and bring it up to your ear. Can you see if the screen turns off when it's up against your ear?
