Welcome to Android Central! Funny, I was going to say the same thing to you.

Where do you see this dot? How big is it? Does it ever move, or is it constantly fixed? Does it show up in a screenshot?

A faulty display perhaps.

A green dot, if visible in the same spot at all times no matter what app you're in, would be a physical display defect.

A screenshot wouldn't pick it up. You could try, but a photo of the device's screen with another camera would be better.

If it's a defect, your only option is to have the screen replaced. Or maybe the whole phone if it's still under warranty.
