    Het guys,

I've had this problem for months now.
My phone just turned off and whenever I plug in the charger I see this red blinking light.
I've tried all the home and power up button methods but they just don't work.
The stuff in it is important to me but I never thought this would happen to the phone.

Welcome to Android Central! So it never powers on now? In that case, I'd suspect a failed battery. Bring it to a repair shop.

I already went to a repair shop. They seemed to not really know what they were doing honestly. So I ordered a new battery.

Did you already try to replace the battery? What model year is the Y6?

Certainly seems about the right time for a battery to fail. Do you plan to replace the battery yourself?

When the phone first died I could turn it on with the volume and power buttons but now the method doesn't work

It's always hard to comment on this kind of thing, since it could be a problem with the replacement battery, an issue with the motherboard/charging circuits, or a problematic power button. When you replaced the battery, did you leave it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, without disturbing it?

Remember that replacement battery could also be deteriorated, since it's probably also around 4 years old.
