why can't I stream music in my car and receive calls

[Android Central Question]

I can stream in the car using lte/gsm/umts, but I can't receive calls or texts. Then to make calls or receive texts I have to switch to Global. Why do I have to keep switching back and forth on my network settings? If I am at home, and am not getting calls and texts, it's because I have forgotten to change settings from when I was streaming. Extremely frustrating!

Welcome to Android Central! Does the car stereo have Android Auto, or are you just connecting your phone to the stereo via Bluetooth and using a Bluetooth Audio input option in the stereo? Does the stereo have a separate Bluetooth Call option?
