Most Android tablets currently use USB C as it replaced micro USB as the standard charger. However some budget devices still use micro USB and so do most older devices.
Samsung also used micro USB 3.0 on a few devices but will still work with a regular micro USB cable despite looking different. Really old Samsung tablets also copied Apples old 30pin charger.
If it's an Apple iPad I believe the first 4 generations used the 30pin cord but switched to lighting with the iPad Air around 2012/2013.
Amazon tablets depending on age are micro USB or USB C.
Windows tablets like the Surface line have used Microsofts proprietary charger, micro USB, or USB C depending on model.
