    I noticed this as soon as I updated my Pixel 3 to Android 11 a couple of days ago.

    Netflix on Android 10 could be used in picture-in-picture mode, i.e. when I am watching something on Netflix and I swipe up, Netflix becomes a small screen on the display leaving the phone to still be used for other things.

    This functionality seems to be gone now. I have checked the permissions and picture-in-picture (PIP) is allowed for Netflix. I update Netflix and uninstalled and reinstalled it. YouTube's PIP is working fine. Is anyone else facing this issue too? Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Welcome to Android Central! It's working on my Pixel 3 XL. Are you using a 3rd party launcher? (Then again, I'm using Nova and it works.)

    Try clearing the Netflix app cache/data in Settings>Apps (which is still worth trying even after uninstalling and reinstalling, since app data might have been backed up and restored when you reinstalled).

    You mean Netflix doesn't show up in the PIP menu in Special App Access? That's weird.

    Oh, sorry -- since the OP was asking about PIP, my brain automatically thought you were referring to PIP as well.

    I am the OP. I am not using any third party app. And I just cleared the cache and uninstalled and reinstalled it. It still doesn't work! How is this a problem that only I am having lol?

    To be sure, go to the Play Store and search for Netflix. It should say there if you have the Beta or not.

    Not sure what the problem might be. There certainly have been various reports of glitchiness with Android 11. It could also be some other app you installed that's interfering, but it'd be hard to pinpoint that, since Safe Mode wouldn't let you use Netflix either. You could try turning off PIP permission for other apps one by one and see if it works.

    Netflix doesn't work for me, tried all the above
    Amazon Prime works but it pauses at the start (never used to)
