I'm just looking for a 8 inch or 10 inch tablet that has root and can run twrp to mess around with. I don't care what brand it is as long as it's currently available new or used and does not cost more than $400.

I asked on xda but no one ever replied. Dumb question to them i guess.

    Thanks for the help!

Is there a list of twrp supported devices? There website seems to not list them all for instance the samsung SM-T290NZKAXAR. It does list the Lenovo Tab 4 8".

    Seems like mostly older devices.

Not sure , I'm not a tablet person , but go through articles and tablets on XDA if they don't respond to get an idea.

The only tablet I've ever rooted became incompatible with Netflix and Hulu due to the root, this was a few years ago, not sure if Netflix is still blocked on rooted devices.

I have no idea. The last time I rooted Nexus 7 was in 2015.

To the OP:Is there any specific reason why you want a tablet you can root? In my case I just wanted to tinker with it and play around with different settings.

Rooting by Magisk is the easiest way, and any phone or tablet on which you can get to the bootloader makes installing Magisk easy. (Even easier if there's a custom recovery for it.

A Pixel makes it almost trivial, but there aren't that many custom ROMs for Google devices. There are for Samsungs, but rooting is more difficult.
