I'm thinking of a method to play my music playlist at once on several smartphones. In fact, I need to listen to my playlist with my friends at the same time. They don't need to have my playlist on their devices forever or their playlists on mine forever. We just need to listen to our playlist together occasionally. Is there a way I can do it?

Look for a streaming server app. (I've never seen one for Android, but there may be one.)

I seem to remember a feature saying that you could share music with friends at the same time. Like you were all sitting in the same room listening to the stereo.

Google of course isn't offering up straight away so perhaps I'm mistaken.

In the meantime Google did locate this list of apps that sounds like they will do just that. You can check it out here... https://headphonesaddict.com/listen-to-music-together/
