Defects happen -- if you think every single item that's ever purchased is 100% defect-free, then you're mistaken. If it's brand new, bring it back to where you bought it and ask for an exchange or refund. Or contact Samsung for warranty service, as mustang7757 mentioned.
If you bought this from a private seller, then ask the seller for your money back. If they refuse, well then that's what we call caveat emptor.
