Gmail Notifications

[Android Central Question]

Whenever I received an email, the little envelope would pop up in the notifications at the top of my unlocked screen. It's suddenly stopped doing that. I have to open up my Gmail and pull down on the screen to refresh the screen, and then unread emails load in all 4 Gmail accounts. I didn't knowingly change any of my settings, and I've tried all the so-called fixes that I could find. Nothing has worked.

Did your device recently update to Android 11?

What device do you have?

I have an S20+ and recently when my device updated for some reason my email app turned off sync for all of my accounts? My issue was in the app itself. I had to go into settings for each account and turn on sync individually.
