There are several variations of Samsung's Galaxy S7. What is the model I.D. of your phone? (it will be something similar to SM-G930F)
Different S7 models will have different cellular radio chips inside, that correspond to what the different carriers use for their respective cellular networks (an issue more established in the U.S. where the carriers are more territorial and less inclined to allow common cellular networks with each other). So a SM-G930A (AT&T) phone will be have problems when working with Verizon's phone service. So there's a hardware limitation involved, there is no phone that universally works on the every carrier's cellular network, and it's not based on the SIM card. A SIM card retains user account data (allowing the user's account to authenticate with a particular carrier), it doesn't have the ability to make any phone with any cellular service.
