Android Central Question

I downloaded some notification tones from Zedge that I chose for my ring tone and text notification. They weren't "taking" so I turned my phone off and on. When it came back on, it wanted a pin I don't have. I got to the screen with the dead android guy with the red triangle at one point. Tracphone chat help gave me directions to reset the phone but I couldn't get it to the menu they said to get to. Now it's just stuck on Enter your Pin screen.

Zedge was a great app but awhile back I got a notification from Google to uninstall it. Then a while later I noticed it was still on the Play Store and tried it again. To get ringtones and wallpapers you have to jump through several hoops, if they even still work. Not sure why Google didn't full on pull the app but whatever. That's really not helping you now but it's something to think about once you get back in your phone.

In the meantime, what phone is it?

My old HTC did the red triangle thing and it was a combination of holding the power button and either the up or down vol button when it appears to access the bootloader options. You may have been doing it right when you arrived at that screen and felt you had followed the directions incorrectly and changed your steps. Try to get back to that screen and hold those two buttons, power and one of the vol buttons and see if that gets you in. Of course register and we'll try to help more with a bit more information from you.
