How do I get my camera and photos icons back on my home page?

You checked your app drawer, go in settings app list?

Welcome to Android Central! Open your App Drawer, locate the Camera icon, long-press it, then drag and drop it back to the homescreen to create a new shortcut. Do the same with the Photos icon.
