How do you remove a ringtone

I accidentally download a ringtone that I didn't want. It's in my ringtone list. How do I remove it

Can help us narrow down what to do, usually long press or swipe should give option to delete or go to your file manager in the device and delete it

Welcome to Android Central! If it's in your system ringtone list, I'm not sure if you can get rid of it, short of a factory reset. Using a file manager app, look in your /Ringtones directory and your /Download directory -- if you see the ringtone file there, delete it, then see if it still shows up in the list.
