Stop android phone from creating log file continuously

I have a Le S3 phone with Android version 5.8.018S (release date 10-08-2016).

My phone creates log files continuously. They are ZIP files of about 5.3MB and have a file name that looks like 2021_06_08..NR..log.zip. (in the general format today's date..NR..log.zip)

The phone is creating these files continuously; this happens even when the phone is in sleep mode. The system creates over two hundred such log files in a 12-hour period.

The files get saved in File Manager > Archives.

The files take up a lot of space over time and slow down system performance. I am required to delete these files periodically.

I did not have this issue until about a month ago. This issue has started in the last 30 days.

Please help.

Thanks,
Kathy

Hi, welcome to AC!
That's normal to see log files as Android copying things you do every day on your device such as activity, user data etc. You can delete them but you can't stop that. The other issue is your running a device with way outdated Android version which is going cause issues with app compatibility, won't support 3g soon , probably this device doesn't even have enough ram or storage as most phones at that time didn't compared to today.
