Worked fine for 2 weeks. Then severe screen freezes, flickers, blackouts. No drops, water, misuse. Resorted to numerous hard resets. Now cannot get thru hard reset; Factory Data Reset Y/N- OK, Erasing shows some minor electric screen noise, LG Logo is perfect, ATT sound then ATT logo (some electrical noise), then android loading bar gets to about 35%, and screen starts to blink rapidly. Power button hot. Totally frozen. Must remove battery to end.
Real un-teckie here. Any ideas to resolve?

This sounds like a hardware failure. Unfortunately the phone is out of warranty unless you have insurance. If you just bought this, I would try to get a refund or exchange.

Welcome to Android Central! You said "new" LG V20, but that phone was released in 2016, so it's highly unlikely the one you got was actually brand new. Where did you buy it?
