Conversation deletion in messenger on iPad.

[Android Central Question]

When trying to delete conversations in messenger on my iPad very seldom do I get the delete option. I almost always only get the archive and mute options. Why or what do I need to do to fix. Thanks

Facebook Messenger? The features may be similar between Android and iOS, but we're more geared toward Android while our friends at the iMore forums (https://forums.imore.com) are more geared to iOS. You have an actual iPad or is it a tablet that you're calling an iPad because it's easier to call it that?

It's funny that Apple almost certainly loves the fact that many people automatically call any tablet an iPad, but woe to the company that would actually try to call their tablet anything that sounds similar to "iPad."
