Can I change the file naming format for screenshots?

[Android Central Question]

On Samsung A02s with the latest Android 11 update, when I take a screenshot, the name of the app which I took the screenshot in appears in the file name. For example, if I screenshot something in Twitter app, then the file name it is saved as will include "Twitter" at the end of the file name before the .png file extension.

I don't want the app name included in the file name when it's saved. Is there any way to adjust this default setting for naming screenshots?

Welcome to Android Central! I'm afraid that's coded into the firmware. You'd have to rename each screenshot manually after you take them.
