Why did everything randomly mixed

[Android Central Question]

I use automatag to tag all my downloaded songs from internet.
Recently there's been a huge bug that randomly mixed almost all of my album covers. Result: I have a Leonard Cohen album cover on Lamb of God songs, The Weeknd's Starboy album cover on Cannibal Corpse songs and so on. Anyone else got this bug and does anyone know how to fix this without tagging them all again manually ? I really don't want to tag 2000 songs because of a bug this stupid

Welcome to Android Central! Where are you downloading these songs from? A legitimately purchased song should have all of the proper ID3 tags and album art attached to it. If you downloaded music tracks that somebody else ripped and shared publicly, that's piracy, and we don't condone that nor will we allow discussion about it.

I get that it is piracy which is why I still by physical albums of what I downlaoded in stores

I use an LG V60 and yeah I could contact him but I was curious if I was the only one getting this problem

No I actually take the link directly from YouTube and I download it via a website.

So, you're violating the YT ToS by "stripping" the audio from the YT page?

My best advice to you is to rip the tracks from the CDs you own. That should get you the proper ID3 tags. We don't allow discussions about violating the terms of service of YouTube or any other site. Thread closed.
