Android Central Question
I've switched from a ZTE N817 to a ZTE Z3100S. The ringtones that I used for my N817 aren't working. I'm assuming the website I used, zedge.net isn't compatible with my phone.
They mentioned on the website its not compatible with their deviceWelcome to Android Central! You don't actually need the Zedge app for their ringtones. If you select a ringtone on their website (Zedge.net) on your browser, you can download it directly from there. Then use a file manager to move that sound file to the /Ringtones directory, and you can select it from there.

OP didn't mention the app they said website , i suggested the app , wonder why that would beBut it wouldn't matter if the app is incompatible, because they still should be able to go to zedge.net on their browser (either on the phone or on the computer), search for the ringtone, and download the file directly to the device or computer.

Figure maybe better luck with the app, but your right we see what they say.Oh, I see what you're saying. Perhaps the file format they downloaded from the website wasn't compatible (i.e., not mp3, wav, or ogg). Hopefully OP will register so they can give more info!
