Android Central Question

I see instructions on how to delete cache data. I go to Device Care | Storage and then supposedly there is a "Cached Data" option...but it is simply not there. Looked aroud a bit, cannot find "cached data" anywhere i've looked. I'm on Android 9, its a Samsung Galaxy (I think) says model SM-J337A. Says "software is up to date" so maybe this model will not accept newer Android versions.

Not sure where you got your instructions for clearing caches but I found these instructions that are specifically for the J3 that don't match what you found. Try these and see if they get you what you want... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...base-204382/&usg=AOvVaw01ELsF3lknJxCcZfKKjlWm

Always be sure to include your device model when searching for information because there are a lot of Samsung Galaxy devices. While there are similarities between devices from the same manufacturer there are also differences as they evolve their hardware and software updates over time.

I remember there was option that had wipe cache in older Samsung Android version in device care but not anymore , system cache in recovery and apps you have to go to individual and clear
