How are you connecting the phone to the truck? Is that audio playing through the phone? Is there ANY audio coming through the truck speakers? Are you using the stock radio or an aftermarket? What phone do you have?

As you can see - we have a lot of unanswered questions the answers to which would go a LONG way in helping us help you...

Welcome to Android Central! Considering your car is 10 year old, it clearly doesn't have Android Auto (unless you have an aftermarket head unit that supports Android Auto). Does your stereo even support Bluetooth? If so, do you know if it supports Bluetooth media (and not just phone calls)?

If your stereo supports Bluetooth media, then pair the phone to your car stereo, and make sure the stereo's input is set to Bluetooth (and not Radio or CD). Then open Google Maps, tap your profile pic at the upper right, then Settings>Navigation Settings, and make sure "Play voice over Bluetooth" is turned on.
