Huawei download pics not sorted by date taken

Hi everyone
Question. I want all my pics from my old Huawei P30Lite on my new Huawei P30pro. I though I could just do 'select all' and download them from the Huawei cloud to the device, but the gallery messes up all my pics. The downloaded pics are sorted by 'time downloaded' and not by 'date taken'. Anyone knows a fix?

Welcome to Android Central! You may need to experiment with different 3rd party gallery apps, since many will sort by the file creation date (which would be the date it was downloaded) rather than the date the photo itself was taken.

Does Huawei Cloud allow you to view the photos in the gallery without downloading them? If so, then that would be the best way to view them -- you should only download them if you need them physically on the phone for some reason.
