Android Central Question
I keep seeing instructions like this on the web:
Enable/Disable Spam Protection in Messages on Android
Open the Messages app on your Android smartphone.
Tap the 3-dot Menu button in the top right corner.
Tap Settings.
Tap Advanced.
Tap Spam protection.
Toggle “Enable spam protection” on/off.
Google's own support says it is not available on all devices.
Does it work on any device? I have a Samsung Galaxy A10e, and I don't see that at all.
I keep getting spam text messages in the middle of the night from attractive young women looking for love. They do not come from phone numbers, they come from email addresses. There is no way to block them.
Is there a way to block texts with a specific word, such as sex?
