Android Central Question

Galaxy Tab S6. Android 11.

Tablet has always worked FINE. A day or so ago the tablet did an update. Since the update when I go into settings, the settings screen is in 2 columns.

The left is what’s NORMALLY on the screen, and the right column is the details from whichever option is selected.

HOW do I get this #$%^&* thing back to a single column, normal screen?

Welcome to Android Central! Does that happen in both portrait and landscape?

If this is a modification that Samsung made with the latest update, then there's nothing you can really do about it, short of flashing the old firmware (which would not be advisable, since each update typically has some security updates).

I have a Tab s6 & was unable to see a setting that would allow a person to revert to the former layout.

Just for the record, the double columns show up in both Portrait & Landscape.

I actually find the feature more useful, but that's just me.
