Hello everyone, reviewing the statistics on the use of Wi-Fi, there is one that caught my attention, by name it has "1021" and it has the Android logo as an icon, as if it were a system application, although its use of Wi-Fi is insignificant (9.32kb), I'm curious because I haven't found much information about this app.

It's an app that you uninstalled. That way you don't get conflicting reports as easily if you compare overall data usage with per app usage.

Those numbers for apps that were uninstalled are the UIDs for the apps. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...ndroid/5709279

Is it normal that it appears in the use of wifi sometimes? More or less every 2 days, although its use is insignificant, it never exceeds 20kb

Note: I borrowed the cell phone from a friend, who is also Huawei, to review, and he also gets the app "1021" in Wi-Fi consumption, and another app came out on his cell phone with another id, if I remember correctly it was "1014"

1021 is the UID for a system process called MPED: [SOLVED] Battery being used by process called "Uid: 1021"-Flyme Official Forum. I'm not sure what that's for.

Oh ok, according to that thread, the problem is that this process consumes a lot of battery, however, this is not my case. In fact, for the time that this cell phone has been in use (almost 4 years), the battery life is quite acceptable, that means then that everything is fine, right?

Oh actually, that link might not be right. I saw a few other threads that list the UID 1021 as belonging to the GPS daemon system app or process: https://android.googlesource.com/pla...ystem_config.h

Oh I understand, but then should I be concerned, or is everything alright according to this?

Edit: https://androidforums.com/threads/gp...m-app.1305965/ I found this that is related to the last link you sent, so all right?
