Why does my Hisense tv keep dimming?

[Android Central Question]

I've had a hisense 43a7300f uhd tv for 6 months. When there is a large proportion of dark image on screen its automatically dims to near black, it's done this from the moment I got it. I've tried all the advice I could find on various forums; adaptive contrast is turned off, back-light is turned off, tv is set set to standard picture not cinema and I've tried resetting to original settings. It's now driving me a bit mad. Can anyone offer any ideas please?
