Ios 12 phone can't hear android 11 when android on speakerphone.

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung XCover Pro with Andoid 11 and two friends with iPhone 12 who can't hear me during a call when I put my phone on speakerphone. Other friends with other phones, with Andoid and earlier iPhone versions, hear me fine when I am on speakerphone. The two iPhone 12 phones can hear me on regular phone mode, and when I use Bluetooth earbuds. When we testing this a friend with iPhone 6 worked in all configurations with my Android 11 phone, and the iPhone 12 phones and the iPhone 12 phones work fine with each other.

Have any other Andoid phone users reported issues being heard by iPhone 12 users when their Android phone is on speakerphone?

Welcome to Android Central! I've never heard of this issue. Are you making standard calls using the stock Phone app, or are these voice calls over some VoIP platform like WhatsApp?

@B. Diddy - This problem happens with the standard Android phone app. We did try a Zoom call at one point, and that worked fine between Android 11 and iOS 12.

Try clearing data and force stop the phone app and retest

@mustang7757 - We've already tried that and more. Honestly though it is hard to even say that this is an Andoid 11 issue, a iOS 12 issue, or both since requires both operating systems ro reproduce.

Yeah especially you have 2 different Operating systems involved here , it's going take lot of trial by error to get this resolved

Another suggestion if you havnt tried is maybe use Bluetooth headphones see if still gives a issue plus little more privacy on the talks .
